USAA is my favorite bank so far. I have 10 different accounts with them. The only problem is trying to deposit cash or checks. They have an easy deposit system using your phone to snap a picture of the check to instantly deposit it but to qualify you must have either a line of credit or a credit card through USAA. I currently not interested in more credit. However, I did sign up for the Capital One 360 accounts during Black Friday in order to get free money. It turns out they also have an easy deposit program using your phone's camera except you do not need to have any established credit with them. Also if you missed the Black Friday deal you can still get a free $50 for opening a checking account and $25 for a savings account. There are no monthly fees to the account. Here is a quote from their site:

“Hey there, welcome to Capital One 360®. We're an online & mobile bank with no fees and no minimums — and your friend thought you might enjoy saving time & money with us. We've also got an awesome mobile app that lets you bank from anywhere, and sweet cash bonuses to remind you that, indeed, it pays to have friends”. is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to

  1. Ooh, the Capital One 360 is a good deal! I use USAA as well, and some of their credit policies (to get a credit card) also drive me a little crazy…
