About PrivateThrifty.com

Brad Baker

I'm Brad Baker and I started this site in 2013 as SPC Baker. It was a hobby at the time and I wanted to create a website to share all the knowledge I gained about saving and spending money. I was hoping it would be a good resource for myself as I captured all the tools in one place to refer back to. I also felt that by continuing to work on such a website, I would grow my own knowledge in finance and personal savings. I have had a lot of fun working on this site and have learned so much not only on money but also on how to create and run a webpage.

After the years I began to learn about internet privacy and security and realized that this is just as much of an important topic as personal finance. I wanted to share as much as I can with my readers. I feel personal finance and personal privacy are two topics that are not really taught in public education. I hope to continue to grow this site and continue to educate and help readers protect themselves while saving money.

I have many plans for the future of PrivateThrifty.com. I hope you join me in our journey together. If you have any suggestions, comments, or concerns, please leave a comment at the bottom of this page or email me at [email protected]. Thanks
